Healthy soil is the foundation of every homestead. Thanks to our rabbits, we’re able to create nutrient-rich compost and vermicompost that bring gardens to life. Each part of the homestead connects — the Buns give back to the land, and the land gives back to us in the form of strong, healthy plants that lead to nutritious fresh produce.

We’re working on turning these resources into soil boosters, natural handmade products, and seasonal offerings. It’s a slow and steady process — but each step brings us closer to a fully connected homestead where everything has a purpose.

From Rabbits to Rich Soil...
We’re working toward offering a line of soil-boosting products, created right here on the homestead with the help of the Hot Cross Buns and our new worm friends. These will include:
– Heat-treated aged rabbit-manure compost
– Worm castings (vermicompost)
– Compost Tea for brewing a garden pick-me-up
Handmade Goods at Craft Fairs
Handmade with loving care...
Coming inside from the great outdoors, we also create handmade goods that reflect the heart of our homestead. Crochet bunny plushies of various sizes, soft baby hats, and fun seasonal items are just a few of the things you’ll find at local craft fairs and community events where we share our work.
In time, we hope to make these items available on the website, too.
Each part of our homestead — from rabbits and compost to crochet stitches — tells a story of gradual growth and gentle determination.
